【10/23-11/3まで＠東京】デザイン展 FormSWISS
スイスのデザインから紐解くこれからのデザイン領域と思考に触れるデザイン展
“デザイン大国”として知られるスイス。今秋、グローバルデザインプラットフォーム「Form」がスイスで行ったデザインリサーチに基づく「FormSWISS」展が開幕します。現在進行形のスイスのビジュアルコミュニケーションデザイン（グラフィックデザイン、タイポグラフィ、モーショングラフィックスなど）と、そのデザイン的思考やライフスタイルにフォーカスした、スイスデザインの今をお届けします。
開催期間はDESIGNART期間の10月23日から11月3日まで、会場は原宿のTHINK OF THINGS、FormGALLERY、学芸大学のBOOK AND SONS、表参道のMINA-TO (Spiral 1F *こちらのみ10月30日から11月6日）の東京都内4箇所。
スイスの小さな村や街から国境を越えて世界のデザイン界に影響を与えているデザイナーを中心にデザイン大学、美術館など約30組への貴重なインタビュー映像の上映、その多くが日本初登場となる現在のスイスデザインを代表するトップデザイナー達の作品展示、多分野にまたがるクリエーター達を交えてのパネルディスカッションなどを通じて、スイスの多様なデザインや教育、ライフスタイル、そしてこれからの私たちの豊かな生き方へのヒントとなるような価値観などをデザイン的視点から多角的に紹介していきます。私たちが思い描く従来の“スイスデザイン”のイメージとは異なるスイスデザインの今を体験してください。

スイスをはじめ欧州で長年活動していたデザインディレクター、丸山新が主宰するグローバルデザインプラットフォーム。年ごとに地域や国を定め、現地で行うデザインリサーチをベースに世界各国と日本の多様な価値観をデザイン的視点から紐解き、国内外へ双方向に発信する。

FormSWISS Exhibition
23 October—3 November 2020
An exhibition introducing the current scope of design thinking and visual communication in Switzerland today.
Co-organized by Form and the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan, FormSWISS is a design exhibition which focuses on Swiss visual communication, design thinking, and the Swiss designers’ way of life.
Switzerland has been a driving force globally in the development of modern and contemporary design. How does Switzerland’s lifestyle shape its creative scene? From work-life balance to environment and culture, what can we learn from the Swiss ways of living and designing? FormSWISS explores these links of kinship through a multi-site exhibition in Tokyo.
FormSWISS will introduce works of Swiss graphic design, typography and motion graphics. It will also include a series of interviews with designers, schools and museums realized in Switzerland by the Form team.
In addition, FormSWISS will offer public discussions between Japanese and Swiss designers, and present several products featuring collaborations across the two countries, available at the exhibition.

FORM
The global design platform “Form” was founded by Arata Maruyama, a Japanese artist with a long career as a design director in Europe, primarily in Switzerland and England.
Form interactively communicates diverse cultural values from a design perspective, both inside and outside of Japan.
